Count Orazio Zanardi Landi, president of the Association of Castles Parma and Piacenza’s Duchy as well as owner of one of the jewels of this association, the castle of Rivalta, invites you to the  exhibition called "The tables of an ancient local family ". Eight rooms of the magnificent mansion will be set with precious outfits always belonged to the Castle and its noble dynasty. Tassels, organza, lace, silver, crystal and rare porcelain will adorn different kind of tables with a special theme: of honor, of the hunting, of the children, of the tea, of the coffee, in a faithful historical reconstruction that comes from the eighteenth to the early decades of the twentieth century. Waiters in livery will serve you with original uniforms according to the fashion of the period. The exhibition opens from April 8 to May 2 2012 as part of the visit of the castle.

Visits:
Saturadays guided tours at 11 am, 3.20 pm and 6 pm
Sundays and holidays guided tours at 10.30 am, noon, 3.20 pm and 6 pm. During week days reservation is required.
The visit lasts approximately 2 hrs.

Entrance is euro 8,00 per adult, euro 6,00 per child (from 6 to 12 years old) or per group member.

The Municipal Theatre in Piacenza has a theater season from winter to spring, entertaining the audience with the most famous and prestigious shows of the Italian scene.

The castle of Rivalta (Province of Piacenza) organizes a fantastic event for kids who will be the protagonists of the day. A special guided tours together with a great  "Eggs hunting " (children with their parents will be attended by a guide who will wear medieval style dresses. The guide will  tell fables, legends and will award the winners with fabulous prizes ) will animate the whole day. Be ready for a lot of music, games and sweets!

Program:
- Music & games with animators (in the village or by the guesthouse of the castle in case of rain). In case of rain program will start at 10.30 am
- Lunch
- Guided tour with animation “Ghost’s eggs hunting” (for children from 8 years old up) and “the stolen secret in the haunted manor” (for children from 4 to 8 years old)
Games, music and sweets 
- 5pm: Puppet show! by Niemen brothers

- Chlldren: euro 8,00 (4-12 years old)
Rates include animation, musics, games, guided tour of the castle (hunting inclusive) and the puppet show. This event will take place regardless the rain as activities will be held indoor.
